VanaFest 10: New Scenarios Announced; Level Cap Increased
For those doubting the future of Final
Fantasy XI due to recent rumors floating about, fear not! At this year's
VanaFest, which celebrated eight years of Final Fantasy XI, Square Enix
announced a whopping three new scenarios for the venerable MMOG which
will all release this year.
Not much was revealed about the new scenarios, other than their titles and release dates, which are: Vision of Abyssea, which is set to launch this summer, followed by Scars of Abyssea and Heroes of Abyssea, both of which have no release date attached at this time. Final Fantasy XI Gil.
In addition to the three new scenarios, Final Fantasy XI will also see a bump in level cap to level 99 and the introduction of Odin and Alexander summons for players to call on in battle.
